A MOTS-c vial, an NAD+ vial and a 5-Amino-1MQ pack from Real Peptides cost $136.80 together. Those three are the compounds most often sold as longevity peptides on research sites, even though only one of them, MOTS-c, is a peptide in the usual sense.
This article will analyze mechanisms, evidence, prices, and legal status of the three solutions. None of the products are approved by the FDA in the current implementation, and the sellers indicate that the products should be used only for research purposes. The term “longevity” used in product advertisement is only a marketing term and conveys no scientific connotation.
The three compounds work through different mechanisms, which is the first thing buyers tend to blur.
Grouping them as longevity peptides makes sense on a shop shelf. In a lab, they answer different questions.
Prices range from $33.60 to $60.00 per item, and only one listing gives enough information to work out a price per mg.

The Real Peptides MOTS-c works out to $4.32 per mg. The other listings do not state a strength in our data, so check the label before comparing. Peptide God adds 30-day free returns; Real Peptides publishes a third-party COA for each of its three. More vendor detail is on the MOTS-c vendor page, and the full range is on all products.
On a vendor page, "longevity" means the compound is used in aging and metabolism studies, but not for prolonging life or slowing down aging in humans. The best evidence for all three compounds comes from laboratory and animal trials.
There is a basic principle that governs the evaluation of longevity claims: that is, one must check the species in which the claim was demonstrated. In the case of MOTS-c and 5-Amino-1MQ, that species is primarily mice, and neither of the two has been tested in controlled trials involving humans. In the case of injectable NAD+, human demonstration of therapeutic effects of NAD+ on energy, ageing or body weight remains limited.
NAD+ is the one compound here that is sold in two very different ways in the US. Real Peptides sells a $60.00 NAD+ multi-dose vial for research use only, with no physician consultation included. Separately, clinics and med-spas offer NAD+ IV drips and injections, and telehealth services offer prescription compounded injections and nasal sprays after a medical intake.
The various routes of application are not interchangeable. Research vials are not designed for human use; rather, prescription drugs are prescribed by qualified medical professionals for patients. It is common for clinics to report symptoms such as flushing, nausea, chest tightness or cramps when NAD+ infusions are performed quickly. NMN and NR being oral precursors are available in the market and NMN having changed its regulatory status thus it is advisable to consult the FDA about its current stance prior to believing any label.
Of the three, only MOTS-c went before FDA's compounding advisory committee in 2026. On 23 July 2026 the committee voted 8-6, with one abstention, to recommend it for the 503A bulks list. The vote is non-binding and needs proposed and final rulemaking before compounding is allowed. Details are on MOTS-c and the FDA.
NAD+ and 5-Amino-1MQ were not voted on. Neither was among the products named in FDA's 24 August 2026 warning letters to five online peptide vendors. Not being named is not approval.
As the purchaser, documentation will take precedence over price when considering these longevity peptides. A vials priced cheaply with no COA is a bad bargain.
Discounts shown are real: the vendor’s own sale price, or how much cheaper per mg a product is than the average of the vendors on this page.
